DIRECTOR - TOM HALL (ACCREDITED EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST)
The team at Smarta Health is lead by Tom Hall. Tom is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist who has a strong passion for preventing, managing and rehabilitating injuries. Prior to starting Smarta Health Tom played semi-professional rugby in addition to working as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the ACT Brumbies rugby academy.
Through this experience working and playing in the high-performance sporting industry Thomas has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise around Injury rehabilitation and physical and psychological obstacles that come along with it.
Since graduating from the University of Canberra with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation Thomas has placed his focus into helping others overcome acute and chronic injuries or illness for a better quality of life.
What is an Exercise Physiologist?
An Exercise Physiologist is an Allied Health professional who has completed a minimum 4-year bachelor degree provided by a National University Course Accredited Program. An Exercise Physiologist is someone who specialises in the prescription of exercise to help patients achieve overall good health, or to treat patients with a medical condition through exercise.
